First of all, we are home safely from the Mainland. It was a wonderful, stressful, fabulous trip and it was great to see everyone. FLH had his first "holoholo" (which is Hawaiian for 'getting around and seeing things and people'.)
This little guy is loved by everyone. We suppose it's hard NOT to love him; after all, he is pretty damn cute. But, the displays of love and affection for us and our new family is just overwhelming. It never seems to be enough time when we are on the mainland. Being 'home' reminded us all how lucky we are to have such a wonderful, caring (and large) family and friend network.
It's important to remember that that unit exists to support us, guide us and champion us all. Equally important is knowing that the network continues to support us beyond the gathering for a special event (like a baptism or holiday), and is there on a dreary Wednesday when the week is dragging on and the stress is mounting up.
So, from Hawaii: we thank you and love you all. Now for some pictures and news!
Landon's Big Trip to Kailua
Andrea, Landon and Jon met with a professional photog the first week of April to have some family pictures made. Although windy, Kailua Beach Park served as the backdrop for our family outing. Kailua is where Landon was born, and so we thought it fitting for his first set of professional pictures. The photographer was a woman who shot a wedding for a friend, she is highly recommended (go here for more info: http://www.hokuliiimages.com). Geralyn is wonderful, funny and was great to work with. Thanks, Geralyn.
For those of you to whom we promised CD copies, please note that we will be making those available via mail. In the meantime, enjoy these proofs:

Landon's Baptism
FLH was baptised at Queen of the Holy Rosary Wea (in Stanley, Kansas). Fr. Larry commented on the number of people Landon had there to support him. Honestly, it's amazing that our family and friends came together to share in God's love for Landon.
Although, we have *some* pictures from the ceremony, we are waiting on more from nice viewers like you (at least those who were there...) Enjoy these, though:
After spending some days in California, Landon made it home to some new prizes (and yes, that thing is NOISY!!):
