I had a wonderful second Mother's Day this past weekend. It started with a breakfast cooked by my boys with a card and flowers. Next, we went to our normal Sunday swim lesson, followed by a lunch at the Cheesecake Factory with our good friends the Kelley's. After a quick afternoon nap, we went with our other good friends Mele and Ryan to their parents house for a Mexican dinner. It was a fun filled day surrounded by great people. I feel so lucky to have such a beautiful, healthy child.
Now for the part of the post we are sad to write. At the end of the month, we are moving from Hawaii to Kansas City. It was a long, and difficult decision, but we are excited about the adventures ahead. We have nothing but wonderful memories of our time in Hawaii, and don't regret our move out here for a minute. Unfortunately though, all good things must end. We have mixed emotions about our move, but feel it is the best thing for our family.

You are so lucky to have had such a wonderful experience in Hawaii. You have made some amazing friendsips and great memories that will last forever. Though you are sad to leave we are so excited to have you all back in Kansas City. Our new home is complete with a swing set and tree house for Landon. I am ready to be a grandma full time and that comes with free babysitting! We are counting the days and hours until you are back. Love you all!
Okay, i'm all caught up on the blog. Loved all the pictures. Landon out weights Lilah, currently 25 lbs. I know the move to KC is a good choice for you, it was for us to Seattle, but i'll be sad to not dream of heading back to HI and seeing you there. But now at least we've got a better chance to visit! And at least you've got Grandma Julie's free babysitting offer in writing!
