Baby News

So, we had our one month check-up (and hep-B shot!) today. Here are the statistics:

1.) FLH is above the 95 percentile for kids his age for height and weight.
2.) He is 13 pounds
3.) He is 25 inches tall
4.) His head is 34 1/4 cm (circumference)

Although Andrea couldn't watch him get the shot; it didn't stop FLH from telling her (and the rest of the doctor's office) his opinion of it. But, he only yelped for a little while and quite honestly dealt with it pretty well.

He is healthy, active, alert and doing very well. The pediatrician said he's right on target. Which makes us feel pretty good. Also ... we can start taking him swimming in the ocean or pool now (provided we give him adequate shade - he's too young for sunscreen at this point).

We're planning a boogie board outing this weekend and we'll keep you posted. They make a really cool, covered baby boogie board. We heard surf is up on the East Shore this weekend...
