The Move and the New Place

We've been busy getting moved and settled into the new place. Moving with an eight-month old baby is tough work. But, we're here now and life is pretty good.

We've taken some pictures of the new place; but, we're waiting until all of the boxes are unpacked to share the really good ones. Here, FLH and mom read on the sofa:


FLH is starting to get used to being in a new place; he was a little skittish the first couple of nights. He's starting to get comfortable. We think he thought he was at a hotel (again); but, he's starting to explore and get into things. There are some nice kids in the neighborhood and he's starting to make friends. We noticed that many families head to the neighborhood park and play in the evenings. Mom and FLH hit the slide:

Landon has a new distraction in the backyard: a swimming pool. Here, he rocks a pair of Micheal Phelps' Swim attire:

Our little backyard is small; Jon can cut it with a weed-wacker. He did ask if they made a riding version:


Here is a panorama from the backyard; on the left is bouganvillea, in the center are some plumeria bushes and Koko Head Crater. We're also going to plant some basil, some mint and maybe a pepper plant.
