Byodo-In Temple

I think that one of the cooler things to do in Oahu is to visit the Byodo-In Temple. We discovered it with some of our first visitors, The Byers. It's so unique, and it sits in the middle of a cemetery. I know it sounds strange, but it's one of the most beautiful cemeteries. It is divided up into sections with different religious monuments to distinguish them. This temple sits in the Buddhist section and it is a very serene place.

This is Landon ringing the bell, which announces his presence at the temple and is supposed to give him a long and happy life.

Landon was mesmerized by the koi pond, and especially loved it when Aunt Amber fed the fish.

There is a sign in the cemetery that says, "Reserve Grandma's ocean view plot now!" How funny is that?
