Pineapple Prince

As Landon's whirlwind week of playing tour guide to his Aunt Amber, Grandma Lizz and Uncle John winds down, I thought we would post some pictures of Landon at one of the must stops on our tour- The Dole Plantation. Although some have shown resistance to visiting it (Kim, this is you), the snack bar alone is worth the stop. The thought of fresh pineapple, Dole Whip, Pineapple upside down cake, and more makes me hungry just thinking about it. Who wouldn't pull over for that?Since Uncle John works for the railroad, we thought it would be fitting to ride the "Pineapple Express," an informational journey through the pineapple fields. I especially love the soundtrack, and the Pineapple Princess song has been stuck in my head since the trip.

FLH will be able to be our tour guide when we come over..he has seen so much in his short life!
Hope Grandma Liz and Aunt Amber have enjoyed spending time with Landon as much as we did.
Can't wait until April.

First of all - I have showed no resistance to going to the Dole Plantation (remember the hot guy we saw parking cars when we drove through the parking lot last February.) However - both days I have been to the North Shore time was a factor because the weather looked like it was getting bad. Shrimp Scampi from a van on the side of the road seemed to be a better option. And to your visitors that have seen the Dole Plantation - what do they know about Masumoto? And the school where Blue Crush was filmed? And houses with all their doors opened, with 25 surfers inside listening to Eminem. These are the important sites of the North Shore. Let's be honest.
