Saturday was a beautiful day. The weather was perfect, no clouds, great trade winds. The family decided to hit the farmer's market, take a drive up the coast to Makapu'u to see whales and then to story time at Kahala Mall Barnes and Noble.
During story time, Landon was the hit with all the little girls and mommies. However, story time ran long and with each page turn, Landon displayed his love for the story with some purple face grunting.
At the mall, Landon met the Easter Bunny. Ever the intellectual, he reminded mommy and daddy that this was "AN Easter Bunny, not THE Easter Bunny." In a strange, Tim Gunn moment, Landon commented on the Bunny's aloha-print neckerchief. "Make it work, Easter Bunny," Landon said. Oh boy, what a fashion snob! There's just nothing getting past him.
The rest of the parents had their kids dressed in weekend best. Landon just rolls in a Gap onesie and cargo shorts. Local-style, baby.
Oh well, it was a great weekend.

Glad to hear from you yesterday. We couldn't wait to get home to look at the picture of FLH and "an Easter bunny". He looks so cute. We can't believe how much he has changed since the last time we saw him in Arizona. Of course we are looking forward to seeing Landon in April, but we also are looking forward to spending time with you and Jon again too.
