Pumpkin Patch

With Grandma and Grandpa here, we thought it would be a perfect time to go the pumpkin patch. Grandma, mommy and Uncle Andy used to volunteer to work at the pumpkin patch years ago, and we all had a great time.

We headed out last Saturday to Aloun Farms, to check it out. They had hay rides, corn on the cob and games and rides for older kids. Unfortunately, it poured the entire way to the pumpkin patch and rained about the first five minutes we were there. The farm is in Ewa Beach, which is supposed to be the dry side of the island. So much for that!

We placed FLH next to a few pumpkins for a photo op, and he sat down before we could stop him. At that point we threw caution to the wind and let him become a muddy mess. He thought it was a great time! We couldn't even get him to look at the camera, as he was too busy checking out all of the new things.

We ended up having to strip him down and hose him off before he could get in the car. We had a great time and got a very cute pumpkin.

Love the pictures! We are counting the days until we can see all of you. Looking forward to taking Landon to see Santa at Crown Center and to show him off to everyone in Kansas City! Of course the main event will be celebrating his first birthday (a little early!) P.S. I got the information on the cheap flights to Honolulu. Greg and I may be out after Christmas. We'll see!
