FLH does the Mainland!

Like the British Invasion in 1964, FLH made his first trip to the mainland this past week. Our first stop was San Francisco (specifically, Santa Cruz County). He did pretty good through the gates, the security, the TSA - however, there was a small incident in Honolulu when the Officials thought they smelled a toxic substance. Really, that is enough said. FLH just smiled.

Here, Frank is at home, holding court. He's a happy little Buddah:

Capitola is a picturesque California coastal town. We stayed at the top of "Depot Hill" - named for the train that runs between Santa Cruz and Capitola. This was our view from the breakfast nook:

FLH is a Hawaii baby (like his dad and mom) and doesn't like the cold weather. He doesn't cry about the cool, damp conditions; however, he gives us a really mean face. Here he is getting ready to spend the summer at Amber and John's:

Jon had the chance to meet up with some of his former co-workers; here Matt T., Pete, FLH and Jon strike a pose at a Rosie O'Donnell same-sex adoption rally in Capitola:

Jon,I thank the good Lord every day for Andrea--to offset all the craziness that you will bring to FLH...
