First Bath (and other things...)

Frank Landon's little cord stump fell off on Christmas day. So, he got his first tub bath. He really liked it: the water was warm, mom and dad were all situated, the soap was nice and fresh...until the major trauma.

Daddy splashed water directly into Landon's face. Ouch:

In Jon's defense, it was an accident (so he says). Interestingly enough, Frank the Tank didn't fuss at first. It was more like a delayed "WTF?" moment followed by some serious crying with real tears for the remainder of the (very shortened) bath.

Jon, Please let Andrea give FLH his bath! 50 people on the mainland will sleep better at night!

No more pictures of my grandson crying please! It makes us sad that we're not there to pick him up, cradle and rock him! Thank you so much for keeping the blog so current. We miss you all so much. By the way it is never cheesy Jon. We love all your humor!

Love, Mom and Gary

Actually, the Baby Whisperer says to get baby's face wet during bathtime..to pour the water over his head into his face and he will get used to the water. You are doing a great job! I can't imagine Baby Dutch not loving the ocean! Great pictures..it looks like Jon is in the tub with him.
